Zimbabwean umpire Rusere to officiate at ICC Women’s World Cup
Langton Rusere continues to make strides as an international umpire and will stand in the middle at the International Cricket Council Women’s World Cup.
The 31 year-old is in the United Kingdom is among nine officials named to handle the prestigious tournament.
Rusere made his international debut in 2015 when Zimbabwe hosted India at Harare Sports Club in Twenty20 International.
He would then make his one day international debut 3 months later.
Rusere also officiated at the ICC Under 19 World Cup in 2016.
The ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 will feature defending champions Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and the West Indies.
The tournament runs from 24 June to 23 July.
