Zim PSL match day 29 Wednesday roundup: FC Platinum go top as rivals drop points

FC Platinum have stolen the march on the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier League after beating local rivals Shabanie Mine 2-0 in a match day 29 tie.

Rodwell Chinyengetere and Mkhokeli Dube scored in the second half as coach Norman Mapeza won in his 100th game in charge of Pure Platinum Play.

Dynamos fluffed their lines as they drew 1-1 at home Tsholotsho. Dembare led through Tichaona Chipunza in 16th minute before Tsholotsho replied through Luke Nyathi.

Ngezi Platinum also dropped points when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Chapungu.

There was a surprise won for relegated Bantu Rovers who beat ZPC Kariba 2-0.
