Zim-born Galloway joins West Brom on loan
Zimbabwe-born premier league star Brendan Galloway has joined midlands club West Brom Albion loan from Everton until the end of the season.
According to the The Baggies’ site the deal for the 2016/17 season does not have a recall clause.
I’m delighted. It’s a great Club and I’m really looking forward to getting started. My aims are to play and work hard for the team and help win as many matches as I can, it’s all about winning. I think for me personally, it’s really important to gain more experience. Coming here is the perfect opportunity to do that.
Galloway, 20, made his debut for Everton in final game of the 2014.15 season but saw his chances limited last season following the return from injury of England left back Leighton Baines. It would seem that with Ronald Koeman does not figure the player in his immediate plans and has let him go out on loan.
While born in Zimbabwe, Galloway has represented England at age-group level. Given his Twitter profile’s micro-bio says he is a footballer for England, it would seem that is where he has heart set.
