Vitori cleared to bowl for Zimbabwe again
Zimbabwean seamer Brian Vitori will be allowed to bowl at international level again after his remodeled action was cleared.
This was after reassessment following remedial action after he was reported in January 2016. He was then banned until his action was corrected.
Since Vitori has been cleared by an independent reassessment of his bowling action after serving a 12-month suspension, if he is reported again, it will be deemed as his first offence.
A favourite it seems of current national coach Heath Streak, the 27 year-old has played four Tests, 20 One-Day Internationals and 11 Twenty20 Internationals so far picking up 45 wickets across formats.
His 22 wickets in 13 ODIs will be seen as handy for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2018 to be hosted in Zimbabwe.
