Matthew Rusike joins Cape Town City
Zimbabwe international Matthew Rusike has joined Absa Premiership side Cape Town City on deadline day.
Rusike arrives from Tunisian side Club Africain, having seemed set on a return to Sweden, where he also previously played for Halmstad and Helsingborg.
Rusike spent three seasons with Chiefs, winning two league titles, the Nedbank Cup and MTN8 under Stuart Baxter. He also had a campaign in the PSL before that with Jomo Cosmos.
For Zimbabwe he was part of the unsuccessful 2017 Africa Cup of Nations side under the stewardship of Kalisto Pasuwa.
