Brilliant Zimbabwe bowl out Windies on Day 1
It was high-fives all around as Zimbabwe won day 1 of the first test against the Windies at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.
Zimbabwe picked a specialialist keeper in Regis Chakabva while Peter Moor the player to miss out. Solomon Mire was handed hia debut.
Windies captain Jason Holder won the toss and chose to bat in overcast conditions.
It looked a bad decision as the returning Kyle Jarvis picked up Kraigg Brathwaitte early one.
Mire would get in on the act as well with a faint edge detected via DRS to remove Kyle Hope.
Shai Hope then enjoyed partnerships with Kieran Powell and Roston Chase before captain Graeme Cremer and Sikandar Raza.
Regis Chakabva then produced an awesome piece of stumping to get rid of Jermaine Blackwood and after that the Windies batting collapse continued unabated with Sean Williams returning figures of 3-20 and Cremer 4-64.
The Windies were then bowled out for 219.
Mire took his test debut by the scruff of the neck making 17 and Hamilton Masakadza in an opening stand of 19 to go to day 2 in a strong position.
