Zimbabwe were disappointing for three of the five matches and especially so in the final encounter in which they were bowled out for a paltry 54 runs.

Speaking exclusively to after the series Streak said:

Well done and thank you to the fans for the support. The one I think I appreciated as a coach is we came back in the series and the supporters came back in. Sometimes when they see the game is gone they will leave. They stuck it out and showed a bit of patriotism.

And he promised hard work:

My promise is I won’t leave any stone unturned… These guys in the changing room are the ones I believe can take Zimbabwe Cricket forward.

Streak said the loss was not for lack for trying:

I can look at every one of these guys and I know they gave 100%. There is noone in that change room who came out to disappoint the fans or embarrassing ¬†themselves… They are highly disappointed but they do appreciate the support [of the fans].
