President Mugabe Back Home
As we expected President Robert Mugabe has made a return to Zimbabwe today after almost two weeks in Singapore.
After all the pages spent on what might be wrong with him and what-not, the president arrived at 7am on Thursday and was his usual fit self. He walked off the plane, had a chat with those welcoming him, ignored reporters and was whisked away in his motorcade and everything was dandy again.
A media frenzy led by the Zimbabwe Mail had implied the 88 year-old leader was on his deathbed in Singapore but it is now true that they were wide off the mark.
The issue surrounding the president’s health had been the talk of the last couple of days.
