EU Eases Sanctions On Zimbabwe; Mugabe Still Targeted
The European Union has reportedly moved to ease sanctions against Zimbabwe again while maintaining those against President Robert Mugabe.
Eight people will have asset freezes and restrictions eased while President Mugabe and his wife Grace will still remain under sanctions.
EU ministers are reported to have agreed to the changes, informally.
Suppose, the sanctions are now just personal really. Why else would you keep the president on the sanctions?
