UZ students protest, exams postponed as impeachment proceedings begin

University of Zimbabwe students have on Monday refused to write exams until President Robert Mugabe steps down.

The students also want vice chancellor Levy Nyagura removed and the PhD conferred on first lady Grace Mugabe to be recalled.

It is the latest in the pressure ramped up on the long serving president with military intervention, a mass protest, Zanu-pf  firing him and impeachment proceedings beginning against him. Party chief Lovemore Matuke has handed in the notice.
