Sizzla Kalonji Latest: Critical But Stable Condition

Sizzla Kalonji who was involved in an accident yesterday is said to be in a critical but stable condition.

Reports coming out of Jamaica say the “Zimbabwe” star had to airlifted to Kingston where it is said he went under the knife.

More details are emerging about the accident. Sizzla was riding his motorbike when he was hit by a bus which was trying to overtake him. The driver did not stop after hitting him.

According to the Jamaica Observer, Sizzla, whose real name is Miguel Collins, has a long list of injuries sustained during the accident including broken arms, ribs and a fractured collar bone. He also has a ruptured liver, and has had internal bleeding.

Fans are said to be staging vigils outside the hospital where he was being treated before he was moved. UK Dancehall DJ Chris Goldfinger who is in Harare for two shows at Red Fox, yesterday took to the stage at the venue where is welcome party was being stage and said his heartfelt thoughts a prayers were with Sizzla. After that the DJs played over 10 songs from Kalonji igniting passion reminiscent of the time when he was in Zimbabwe.
