Pope Quit After Corruption, Gay Sex In The Vatican – Reports

Italian media says Pope Benedict XVI quit his position after a report on a widespread tale of blackmail, corruption and gay sex at the Vatican.

Although he had been thinking about it for a while, it was the 300-page dossier that tipped him over.According to La Repubblica the findings of the nine-month investigation, headed by Spanish cardinal, Julian Herranz , with the assistance of Cardinal Salvatore De Giorgi, former archbishop of Palermo, and Slovak cardinal Jozef Tomko, was delivered to the pope on Dec. 17, 2012.

Vatican expert Ignazio Ingrao wrote  in Panorama another newspaper:

The pope was no stranger to the intrigues, but he probably did not know that under his pontificate there was such a complex network and such intricate chains of personal interests and unmentionable relationships.

The Pope will hand over the dossier to his successor who he hopes will have the strength to deal with the situation.

An underground gay network  whose members organized sexual meetings in several locations, including a villa outside Rome, a sauna in Rome’s Cuarto Miligo distirct and even in a beauty salon inside the Vatican was found. This opened them up  blackmail.

The pope was probably  hoping for a quiet exit come 28 February but it looks as if drama is yet to unfold as the papacy is being moved along.
