Peter Ndlovu To Face Charges Over Horror Crash, Lawyer Confirms

Former Zimbabwe soccer captain Peter Ndlovu will appear before a Victoria Falls magistrate on Wednesday where he is expected to be charged over the death of his brother and a female friend in a car crash in December, his lawyer confirmed.

Police have since determined that Ndlovu was speeding when the accident took place near the resort town last year.

His lawyer was quoted by NewZimbabwe.com as saying that he was yet see the summons himself although he was aware that they were charging  him.

His brother  Adam, a former Zimbabwe international himself died on his way to hospital while Nomqhele Tshili, who was a passenger died on the scene.

He is likely to face two charges of culpable homicide.

This will definitely be a tough time for Peter and his family but the law has to take its course without fear or favour.

It is sad, yes, but the day we pick and choose who should be charged for one thing and the other will be the day we should all pack our bags and call it a night.
