Indonesia Earthquake: Tsunami Watch Lifted Across Most Of Indian Ocean
A tsunami watch that had been in place after two powerful earthquakes hit the waters off the coast of Indonesia has been lifted in most of the Indian Ocean.
Four hours after the first earthquake the tsunami watch was removed by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii. It was still in effect for Indonesia, India, the Maldives, Sri Lanka and the island territory of Diego Garcia.
Experts say for the regions where it remains in place, the danger is no imminent but rather cautionary.
We are just glad that people did not suffer in this one.
