Cyclone Dineo downgraded to a tropical storm
The South African Weather Service has downgraded the dreaded Cyclone Dineo to a tropical storm.
It wrecked havoc in Mozambique on Wednesday night and gale force winds uprooted trees and roofs were torn off houses in Inhambane Mozambique on Wednesday night.
Gale force winds in SA are still expected to reach speeds of 50-60km/h. The storm will now be called ex-Dineo.
Heavy rainfall is still expected to hit Limpopo and into parts of Zimbabwe on Friday.
Caution will still be advised.
