Murdered Harare Businessman’s Post-Mortem Out
Harare businessman Allan Banks, who was found dead in the boot of his car, was murdered and died through suffocation after being hit with a blunt object.
Government newspaper The Herald in today’s edition reported that a post-mortem carried out at Parirenyatwa showed that Banks was hit with a blunt object twice on the back his head before being suffocated using a plastic bag while unconscious.
The motive was not clear as valuables were found in his car.
Banks went missing last week and was found dead in the boot of his car a few days later.
The heinous crime has shocked Harare, a city where crimes of this nature are rare.
