Chisora’s Antics May Cost Him 66 000 Pounds

DERECK CHISORA stands to loose £66,000 from the £300,000 prize-money he was meant to receive for the WBC world heavyweight title fight he had against Vitali Klitschko.

The British Boxing Board, in conjunction with the German Boxing Federation and the WBC, are holding the money until investigations into the Munich fracas that Chisora caused are completed.

It is reported Chisora could be been fined £33,000 for slapping Klitschko at the weigh-in for their bout, £16,500 for spitting at Vitali’s brother Wladimir just before the first bell and another £16,500 for his brawl with Haye at the fight press conference.

Chisora was arrested at a Munich airport as he was leaving Germany. He was later released without charge by German police.
