The creepy effect internet porn is having on young men

Young men who regularly view porn are suffering from serious medical issues.

A condition called Porn-induced erectile dysfunction (PIED) wasfirst outlined by Dr. Abraham Morgentaler at Harvard Medical School.

Now it is becoming more common with young men who simply can’t get a hard-on.

An article in Rolling Stone magazine says boys as young as 13 could not get it up and the condition is being linked to the consumption of smut.

…many young men in their twenties and thirties are turning to sites like Reboot Nation – according to Deem, it has approximately 10,000 visitors per month – as well as similar websites like Your Brain On Porn and the subreddit NoFap, to report experiencing symptoms of erectile dysfunction. And the one thing they have in common, they say, is a healthy diet of Internet porn.

It adds to the view that men who use porn tend to want to have extreme forms of sex and find no more pleasure from it. This comes from heightened and unrealistic expectations of the act and often their view of women is a bit skewed.

And with so much free stuff available well, it’s going to be a big ask to get people off it.
