Doctors Announce ‘Spectacular’ Cancer Breakthrough

Doctors have announced a new treatment they call spectacular in the treatment of cancer.

Immunotherapy means that your own cells attack the cancerous sells.

A British-led research team saw tumors shrink in more than half (58%) of melanoma patients.

Professor Roy Herbst, chief of medical oncology at Yale Cancer Centre says the findings were ‘spectacular’ and immunotherapy could replace chemotherapy as the main treatment for cancer in the next five years.
