VP Mujuru Consoles Malawians

Vice President Mujuru visited the Malawian Embassy in Zimbabwe to pay her last respect to the late Malawian President Bingu Wa mutharika who died last week.

After signing the book of condolences the VP said-

“We must keep our unity and must unite our people. Feel at home because we are together in this bereavement, you are not alone.”

She also said Zimbabwe was ready to assist Malawians during these trying times and urged them to forge ahead with the empowerment programmes he pursued.

Meanwhile the remains of the late president Bingu wa Mutharika’s remains will arrive in Malawi today through Kamuzu International Airport where there will be a guard of honour by the Malawi Defence Force. Burial is expected to be on 23 April.
