Bulawayo Prepares For ZITF 2012

The city of Bulawayo is preparing for Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) 2012 that will take place from April 24 to 28 under the theme, “Investing locally, reaping globally”.

According to the ZITF Company’s newsletter, foreign participation at this year’s event is expected to increase with reports of companies from Brazil, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia India, Pakistan, China, Brazil, South Africa, Namibia, Indonesia and Southern African and German expected to take part.

The trade fair has the potential to attract more business into the country. We feel that the annual trade showcase is a key aspect of Zimbabwe’s economic resurgence and as such needs both public and private sector support.

Achieving success in any endeavour is easier said than done and it’s hard not to feel like events in Zimbabwe happen rather haphazardly with no unified goal. At this stage everyone should be working in unison as a nation.

One cant help but feel that things kind of sprout out when their time comes and fizzle out and the next events happen.
