Zimbabweans’ support amazes me – Carl Joshua Ncube on World Record Attempt

Trailblazing comic Carl Joshua Ncube  was up to 17 gigs in four days as he bids to set the Guinness Book of World Record for the most number of comedy shows in 7 days.


The fourth day was the most grueling with 9 gigs in one day.

We caught up with Carl in his very busy schedule and stole a few minutes:

3-mob.com: How has the experience been so far?
Carl: I am amazed how Zimbos are coming out to support. Some even doing multiple shows.

3-mob.com: What have you learnt from the experience so far?
Carl: I am learning.more about my material and it is getting polished.

3-mob.com: What has the biggest moment of the tour been so far?
Carl: Biggest moment is when we performed to three people at Prince Edward [School]. Three paying fans saved the venue from.being disqualified.

Day 5 takes Carl from Harare to Gweru with 4 shows lined up. These will happen between the capital city, Norton Kwekwe and Gweru. After that he proceeds to Bulawayo and then Victoria Falls in the final two days.
