Tuku, Makore in new National Arts Council of Zimbabwe board

AB Communications CEO and Oliver Mtukudzi are among the new National Arts Council of Zimbabwe board.

Opening ceremony

Pro-Vice Chancellor of Great Zimbabwe University Professor Herbert Chimhindu will chair the board.

Mtukudzi is the only one retained from he outgoing board.

Other members announced by Minister of Rural Development, Promotion and Preservation of National Culture and Heritage Abednico Ncube are:

  • former Bulawayo town clerk Mr Moffat Ndlovu,
  • businessman Max Tshuma,
  • Professor Ruby Magosvongwe,
  • former legislator Japhet Dube,
  • Dorcas Savanhu and;
  • Witness Zhangazha.

The boards tenure is four years.
