QUICK SONG REVIEW: Jaytee, Chronnic and Mandy – Keya Keya

The City of Progress trio is spot on again with another single Keya Keya.

The record, which is a far-outspoken-word shot at haters and competition alike, encompasses uncompromising honest pro-typical hip hop message. In a nutshell ‘we don’t care’. That attitude is so real in the song.

Created from a  customary Shona folk song we used to sing as kids, it is is catchy, easy to relate to and imaginative. Mandy’s distinctive vocals are both daring and attractive. Mixing a colourful assortment of heavy punchline flows with kick-back worthy production,  the trio gives listeners nothing short of quality. Under the impeccable tailored exterior,  this is a song that is both ballsy and brave.

Honestly, give it a listen. Although they don’t care.
