PICS: Raydizz Las Vegas Miller SoundClash & Welcome Party
Zimbabwe’s biggest club DJ and burgeoning performing artist, RayDizz returned to Harare from Las Vegas last week Thursday where he attained a top 5 finish in the Miller SoundClash Global finals that were held at Las Vegas’s prestigious Marcquee Day and Night Club.
RayDizz competed against other finalists from 12 other nations including Russia, Mexico, South Korea, Columbia, and Argentina.
After an intense round of battles RayDizz finished the competition in the top 5, losing out to the eventual winners – Tom & Collins from Mexico.
Said RayDizz after landing back home
I am happy that I managed to finish in the top 5 but disappointed that I could not win the competition. I gave it my best effort and I made sure I represented Zimbabwe throughout my experience. I met a lot of influential people who were all impressed with what I offered. I look forward to building on that momentum and thank Miller for this experience and opportunity.
Two days after landing, RayDizz held a party at H2O Club in Borrowldale to commemorate his birthday and return from Las Vegas. Fans, friends, and celebrities alike were all in attendance. RayDizz and his two DJ partners – DJ Rax and DJ Rawseee entertained the attendees until the early hours of the morning.
Said the soft-spoken spinner:
I am truly humbled by the response and love everyone has shown me. I have not seen the club this full in a long time. At one point it was wall to wall and people were still queuing outside to get in!
RayDizz is now preparing to release his next single titled If Found Please Return To Harare featuring Smylie and his new line of 729 apparel.
