Save Madalitso

Nine-month-old Madalitso was diagnosed with a severe heart defect three months ago. His condition has continued to deteriorate and the need for surgery has become urgent. Edith and Madalitso are scheduled to leave for India on 12 September. Of a total US$15,000 needed, so far US$7,500 has been kindly donated by Econet Wireless. The fundraising dinner is part of the unceasing efforts of the parents to raise the balance needed.

The fundraising dinner will be held on FRIDAY 6 SEPTEMBER  at INGIA USHIBE, 5 Duxford Ave, Greencroft, Harare.

Tickets are $50 per person and each ticket will be accompanied by a copy of the new Edith WeUtonga album, a live performance by Edith with a small ensemble of local artists. Edith will also auction her treasured bass guitar on the night.

Block bookings for tables of 10 are available.

Pull in and support either by attendance or donation.

A worthy cause worth supporting. Wishing the kid and family well in
this time. Edith pours herself out entertaining people. It is important
that we rally behind our own and help them in time of need. If one can
not afford the dinner, I am sure their $5, $10 or any amount will go a
long way. Idea, can’t a short code be introduced where people can even
    send $1. Just an idea.
