Ammara Brown To Debut At Joburg Theatre

Zimbabwean singer and actress Ammara Brown will debut at the iconic Joburg Theatre in the musical Color Me Human  this November.

The latest run is from 12 to 29 November 2015 at The Fringe.

About Colour Me Human:

The music is a wide and undefinable soundscape composed by Steve Dyer including a stirring arrangement of Makubenjalo (let it be).

The choreography is by the creative duo of Sonia Radebe and NhlanhlaMahlangu, who trace various rituals around key stages in our lives. Director, Makhaola Ndebelelikens the ebb and flow of Colour Me Human to a pulsing heartbeat.

Willhelm Disbergen conceived the set and stage design, and Thando Lobese designed the costume.

Talented soloists include young Zimbabwean songstress Ammara Brown and dynamic opera star Ann Masina.

This is the second run after it showed earlier this year at the Soweto Theatre.

Ammara leaves for Jozi on Sunday. Before that she performs at the Old Mutual Theatre at Alliance Francaise in Harare in a show which will be filmed.
