Congolese musician Kofi Olomide has been found guilty of assaulting his producer.

He has been given a suspended three-month prison sentence.

He was arrested  after a scuffle in his hotel room in the Democratic Republic of Congo capital, Kinshasa.

The court heard that the altercation was with his producer, Diego Lubaki, was over a debt of 3,000 euros. Lubaki had wanted to drop the charges but the judge wasn’t keen.

Earlier this year the ‘soukous’ star was also accused of raping three of his dancers in France, a charge he denies.

Looks like Kofi has been a naughty boy.
