In case some of you haven’t heard, Keagan of South Africa is the winner of the Big Brother Africa 2012 star game show.
Those that missed the end, well… you did not miss much. The show kind of fizzled out with little incident. ‘A dull affair’ probably best describes the Grand finale of a game-show billed as one of Africa’s greatest shows.
The fact of the matter is there is little excitement that can be created at the end of watching people eat; brush their teeth and get drunk for 91 days. Fans of the show may argue otherwise but that’s what fans do in any case.
To be fair to the organisers, some people are still immersed in the euphoria of Olympics and it was always going to be a challenge to create a higher dose of excitement for television viewers as the curtains closed for this year’s edition of the show.
For enduring the Big Brother house, Keagan walks away with the $300,000 USD prize. To Keagan we say congratulations.
For some, the whole thing died when the Zimbabweans left the house. Perhaps it died only in Zimbabwe but more people are talking about Usain Bolt than those who are talking about the reality show.
