Zimbabwean Named Captain Of Manchester City

Bookmark and Share

Tinotenda Chibharo has been named captain of English Champions  Manchester City’s Under-21 side, ZBC has been reporting.

The former Prince Edward School student was scouted from Winthrop University in United States where he was studying. Chibharo  had to stop midway his Business Management degree when the City opportunity fell on his way.

He has represented Zimbabwe at junior level alongside the likes of Archford Gutu, Knowledge Musona, Ovidy Karuru and Khama Billiat. Being named captain sees the central midfielder knocking on the door of the Manchester City senior team.

We hope he makes it and that soon he will start donning the Warriors jersey.
