The first time we came across Allan Banks’s name was a missing person’s paper that was being passed around at Eastgate.

The Harare businessman  had been missing since the 11th of July. A media, fliers and email campaign had been put in place to find him.

It was with real sadness when we found out last night that Allan Banks had been found dead in the boot of his own car. From what we have heard it would appear as if he had been murdered. It is said he was found with a plastic bag covering his head.

The reason why he was killed was not yet clear but this heinous crime left us deeply saddened.  A murder investigation has been opened.
