Zimbabwean MCs Tehn Diamond and Zubz The Last Letta feature on a new song from Motif Records in honour of ‘the incredibly brave young people who in June 16 1976 mobilised themselves against the repressive apartheid system’.

The label has gotten together 16 Southern African MCs and put them on wax to take you through the journey of the creative lyrical wealth of a young generation claiming its future.

Tehn’s featuring on the track is the culmination of a growing relationship between Tehn, Tumi and the legendary Zubz – if their tweets are anything to go by. Zubz and Tumi were in the audience when Tehn performed at a hip hop show  at Book Cafe that was on the fringes of HIFA this year. The show was which featured other MCs was put together by Tehn’s management, New Sofala.
