Five Zimbabweans arrested over Johannesburg mall robbery – SAPS
Five Zimbabwean nationals have been arrested in connection with the robbery of a mall in Johannesburg’s wealthy suburb of Hyde Park, the South African Police Service has confirmed.
Gauteng provincial Police Commissioner Deliwe De Lange said the suspects have confessed to three other mall robberies.
Six armed men got away with thousands worth of jewellery from the Thursday heist on Thursday morning.

The new police minister Fikile Mbalula also confirmed the arrest on his Twitter account. There was some backlash over the reference to Zimbabweans which he said was neither here nor there as there was nothing xenophobic about exposing the nationality of a suspect.
